Hastelloy C-22 is a multifunctional austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy whose overall corrosion resistance is better than other Ni-Cr-Mo alloys available today. It increases the chromium content and reduces the content of molybdenum and tungsten-based on C276. The content of carbon and silicon is extremely low, which improves the corrosion of C4 and C276 in strong oxidizing media. Hastelloy C-22 has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and local corrosion resistance, which is very suitable for manufacturing corrosion-resistant welding equipment, containers, pipelines, etc. in the chemical industry. It has the ability to resist the formation of grain boundary precipitation in the welding heat-affected zone so that it can be adapted to many chemical process applications in the welding state.
