Inconel 600 is a standard engineering alloy material. It is a Ni-Cr alloy that has been developed and applied very early. It is designed for extremely high temperatures ranging from low temperature to 2000 °F (1093 °C). It has corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and Anti-oxidant and other features. Its high nickel content makes it have good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, improved resistance to carburization, nitriding and thermal fatigue, and at the same time has an austenite structure and maintains superior ductility. The chromium content gives it resistance to sulfides and various oxidizing environments. The alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents ideal high strength and good workability.
