Inconel 617 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy that maintains good strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures exceeding 1800°F. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in various aqueous environments, and its mechanical properties are good, so it is easy to technically shape and traditional welding. The content of chromium in Alloy 617 enables it to maintain pitting and stress corrosion resistance in various reducing and oxidizing media. It is usually used in aerospace, petrochemical, power generation and other industries.
