Alloy 33 is a new type of corrosion-resistant austenitic alloy. Due to its good balance analysis and extremely high chromium concentration, it has excellent resistance to common corrosion and pitting corrosion in chloride. The addition of molybdenum and copper to the alloy improves the resistance in phosphoric acid and simplifies the passivation in sulfuric acid. The high nitrogen content ensures high mechanical properties and good ductility of the material. In addition, in addition to excellent corrosion resistance to nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid mixtures, the material also has strong corrosion resistance to all alkaline media. It should be noted that the best corrosion resistance can only be ensured when the material is used in a clean, bright metal condition.
